In “Generating the Qualities of Being,” Donna Michell Moniak does two things. First off, she scares the heck out of me and make me feel inferior due to her extremely impressive knowledge of all things spiritual. Honestly, I had to reread sentences a couple of times just to know what was going on. I’m such a simpleton.
Secondly, and much more importantly, she shares some extremely enlightening facts regarding the subject of “Generating the Qualities of Being,” which is essentially about the “Practice of Living Awareness.” Or, for laymen like me, it’s about how to be a god Christian or a good Buddhist, or simply a good person, by letting out your essential “Being.”
In the article, Moniak discusses ten traits: wonder, renunciation, virtue, generating fruitional causes, enlightenment, meditate ability, and finally deity, Sunyata and Buddha / Christ qualities. The importance of each of these traits is discussed in depth.
