Thich Nhat Hanh Suffers Brain Hemorage—A Meditation For his Recovery

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh has suffered from a severe brain haemorrhage. Thich Nhat Hanh he currently in hospital receiving intensive care from specialist doctors and nurses from his monastic disciples.

At the moment we can report that Thich Nhat Hanh is weak but is aware of his surroundings and is recognising the people around him. He is able to move his eyes, hands and feet, and there is hope that a full recovery may be possible.

 Thich Naht Hanh’s health has been poor for a few months and he was hospitalised at the beginning of the month, but he was gaining strength prior the haemorrhage.

 Monastaries in Plum Village are practicing meditation sessions that will create energy and positivity to send to Thich Naht Hanh, aiding his recovery.
